SCCA, 1/4 Mile, Lapping Sessions........

i know colin use to scca, but what about the rest?

it would be nice to see more out there. the suby guys all go out to tracks together, i think thats so cool.....

after all this is a car that was designed to be driven right?

I feel I've accomplished what I wanted to do at the track. I have three consecutive A Stock points titles, and two consecutive Runoff titles. Fran's spin towards the end of 2001 dampend her enthusiasm for racing at HRP, though a return to autox (at a suitable location) is not out of the question for her. I see from the results that someone took an S2000 to autox in Dec. Practice makes perfect, and tires help tremendously, but it should be noted that the last time I was out there, I was 4 seconds faster than Jayson in his M3, and 7th out of 60 in raw times. See here
So MKH, old men and ricers don't own me!

Most of us do not have the time nor interest anymore. This is also our daily driver car(to and from work). I used to track my integra in the early 90s. It does not hold the interest it once had. Top speed is my rush. I have spent close to $60000 on my S2000 and I wouldn't call it rice. Spoon/ Comptech = performance in my book buddy. Why the hell do you care what we do with our money and our cars?
My hobbies are skiing/repelling/bike riding(not racing imports). I haven't been to the mountains for several years. I am now moving back to southern California and I am hitting the slopes and hitting the desert for some much needed dirt bike riding. Cant wait.
MKH,
Is your car sponsored? Most of the parts on our S2000s were half off if not free. I cant complain there. Would you?
Do you have any modifications done to your S2000? If so, I would love to hear what you have besides lowering springs.
Could you also post pictures of your S2000 for the rest of us? We would love to see it.

LOL @ JDMS2000

Hey d00d what put you over the sixty-thousand mark.. that spoon radiator cap or the spoon lugnuts? d00d your ride must be hella fast with all of those crazy mods!

oh and you got them for free or HALF OFF?? so worst case scenario your car has at least $120k in mods since you got everythign at half price + all the stuff you got for free? I hope you forgot to list the 6 dozen Rolex watches you keep in the trunk, cause that ain't near sixty-K in mods, unless you count spending MSRP for the car a $30k mod ^____^

i heard MKH has his s2k lowered 12 inches and the whole body is chrome dipped carbon fiber. it's tight.

Let's play nicely kiddies. Seeing as this thread was inteded for Hawaii owners, I have no idea why non-Hawaii people are posting flame-bait responses here to begin with.
