white s2k w/work vs-xx
the other week, a white s2k came into our shop for a brake concern. ends up having a brake job done. he had some 18" work vs-xx's on it, and i just recently saw these wheels on a guys NFR who had some stuff posted for sale here on s2k.com. his car looks sick w/the gold vs-xx on the NFR. the white one looked nice, but not low enough. anyway, so now i'm thinking of getting those work's, but i need to get rid of my ssr professor sp1's that i haven't even ran yet. i was wondering if anyone knows who that guy is, and what are the dimensions/measurements of his wheels on his car. it's not a for sure thing just yet, but i've been thinking about it. if anyone has any info that will help me, please let me know. oh, and the s2k has a carbon hood/trunk, and mastercraft stickers on the front headlights.

i'm sure you'll see it around kent. if not, i'll take a picture of it next time it comes in for service. i was looking for the spec decal in the inner barrel of the wheel, but there was none on the front or rear. it looked like a 9.5 in the rear, and an 8 in the front, but i could be wrong. if i remember correctly, the tire sizes were 225/40/18, and 255/35/18. pretty sik looking, but i want to see what it would look like on my car...

to be perfectly honest, no one really favors working on our beloved s2k's. there are a number of reasons for this, mainly being, the car is not very easy to work with. yes indeed, it's a honda, but not your average civic/accord. things are harder to access, and takes time to do when doing so. also, i've only seen a handful of s2k's come in, and majority of them are modified, which even more so, tech's do not want to work on. it's harder to get onto the lift, and just overall is a hassle to do. not to mention that there is little to no room for error. you have to be extra super careful when working on these things. or at least i am/have been when i've worked on them. all due to the fact that i own one myself, and my s2k is my prized possession, so i try to keep that thread when working on someone else's vehicle.

saw the guy again the other day. i think he came in to pick up a part or something that he ordered. got to talk to the guy very briefly, due to myself being busy @ work. cool guy though. and if my mind serves me correctly, he didn't have a hardtop the last time he came in, but this time, he had one. and another s2k owner stopped by also. idk what they were looking for, but they were talking to my parts guy who also owns an s2k. come to find out, the s2k is his g/f's, who was also there w/him. it was a berlina black ap2...
