I like to drive anywhere, on Oahu I like to drive Tantalus, then there's Kunia Road going towards North Shore, 13 corners in Kaneohe, Barber's point backside roads and Waimea. Haleakala should be fun as hell too!

The average drivers on Oahu are quite bad, they don't respect the "unwritten" code of the road. When I had the chance to visit some friends in California, I soon learned not to "drive like I freeking own the road" anywhere near the left-most lane. Simple rule is the further you are towards the right, the slower the traffic should be moving. Drive in the left-most lane, and you should basically be booking it. Should a car behind you flash their headlights at you, move over let him/her pass then you can move back if you wish but do this here and you'd definitely get the finger or a Samoan fist making close encounters with your face. Over 50% of the people drive at the same pace the adjacent lane moves when there's no traffic ahead of them and they won't let you pass because the mentality here is, if you need to pass the car then it's your responsibility to get around that car.

When I'm in a clear lane and a fast approaching car from the rear closes in on me faster than I'm willing to drive, at the first chance I get I move over and let the car pass. Most people unfortunately don't share this same frame of thought. That's when it calls for some weaving techniques which the S2000 responds all too well.

Actually I live near Waikele but on the other side of the freeway. I did notice a red one near Kunia though.
