Default What tools required to remove a coilover?

I've never installed coilovers, and would like to adjust my ride height back down to a reasonable level. Eurosport told me that it's not possible to adjust the ride height on my N-zero's while it is installed. So my question is what do I need to remove my coilovers?
I have wrenches, 2 jack stands, hydraulic jack. Do I need anything else? Does it require more than one person?

I'm trying to get this done before this coming Sunday, as it is showdown time between all the participants at the autocross who want to get their hands on the fastest-time-of-the-day since the resident dominator will be away for this event.

ive done mine by myself. you might need a breaker bar for the lower shock bolts. and a pretty small hand to do the rear drivers side (if you unbolt the gas neck its will make it a little easier. im free on most week days if you need help

You really should use a torque wrench to bolt everything back to specs. You can use a jack & stands but it's much easier if it's up on a lift. Here is a thread with directions and pics, it also has all the torque specs, it's actually very easy. I can help you get a lift and do this if you want.

you probably just need to take off the front for adjustment but the rear i think you can get away without because there is no arm around it.
jsut remember to lower the front arms on jackstands before tightening the arm bolts.

That would be great! I'm all about making it easier. Do you think it could be done before this Sunday though?

Unless something comes up I'll be free after 2pm the rest of this week, and all of saturday. I don't see this taking more than a couple hours if we're a bit slow and the shop starts to close at 7:30pm.

The lifts are first come, but I never really have problems getting on during the week. However, we would need to get there before the shop opens at 9am if you wan't to get anything done on Saturday, that or we'll probably have to wait a couple hours.

Just let me know if any of that works.

Cool! How's Friday for you? I have work at night, but I won't start until about 3 pm.

since I have the same coilovers I can tell you that EuroSport is wrong. Didn't you get the wrenches with the N-Zeros? You should be able to turn them while it's still on the car. It'll take awhile but it works, I've done it. Just mark a spot so that you can remember how many turns.
