With the early cars ('00-'03) I used to shift just before VTEC at around 5.5. With the newer cars I'm definately "short shifting" at 4-4.5. I also find that in moderate traffic, I run less revs than before. I used to keep myself around "one gear shift" from 6K, just in case I needed a quick punch of power, now I spend more time around 3-4 K and would need to drop two gears to get to 8K. I guess the extra torque is making me lazy....
