The color match was pretty good, either that they did a good job fading it.
A lot of colors that have mother of pearl or metallic flake are difficult to match because you have to deal with the color it self and you have to match the pearl intensity. Even the time it takes for the paint to dry can change the color/shade of a pearl or metallic paint. This is called pigment floatation, this is where in the paint the flakes or pearl settle. The longer it takes to dry, the darker it will be, and the faster it dries, the lighter it will be. Other factors have influences on the paint such as tip size, flake or pearl size, (Extra fine, fine, medium, medium coarse, coarse, and extra coarse) speed of spray, humidity, etc... Most of these factors apply to even plain basic colors. I could go on and on, but I think that should answer your question..

So I picked it up today, the good news is I get to drive my car again, the bad news is it gets to go back November 2, to get a few things re-done.
