Default Went to pick up the car today, but.....

Well, over all I was pretty happy with the body work and paint job. I noticed a few things and I brought them up to the shop manager, she said they could take care of it, no problem. My biggest complaint was my top, they had to take it off in order to cut the rear quarter off. When they put it back on they jacked it up. It has crumples all over in the back, there is also has white crap ground into it. I am super stoked they did not hassle me with the issues I brought up... One of the other things I noticed, was that someone drove my car a little over a mile. I took down the miles before I dropped it off so that is how I know. I wonder if it is normal for them to drive the car to make sure everything is working correctly, I could understand if they had to do suspension work or I had a problem with the frame due to the accident. I was going to ask them why but I forgot, I will ask when I go pick it up next week.

If I had to deal with them again I would feel okay with it but I am sure theres other places that would do better work.

is the top tight? because the wrinkles go away after a little while. but if it isn't tight, something is wrong.

No pics yet, but when I pick it up next week I will snap a few and post them up. BTW, how is that cover working out for you?

I was so sad I did not even get to drive it. It was like christmas when they called, and then when I went to pick it up, I felt like I got a gift of coal ....

The top is tight, but not in the right places. I also noticed on the driver side it was not put on correctly. I would not have noticed it if I did not have experience replacing tops. I thought about telling them I would take care of it but I figured it would be wise for them to do it. Oh well, as anxious as I am to get it back, I want it done right.

When cooldill had his car in the shop, Taka saw them ripping his car down the street for fun.

I figure I should be tactful when asking about them driving my car. I think I will ask them if they took the car out to make sure everything feels good. If they say , no, then I know what's up and I will go from there. If they say, yes, then I guess it is what it is.

I would be pretty bummed if they went joyriding.

A mile isn't that much, I wouldn't stress over it.
