I agree with you Darth. The G35 Coupe is pretty sweet. If I could, I would love to own both the coupe and the S2000. Best of all worlds
Unfortunatly, that is not an option so I think I will stick with the S.

I think some people are missing my point, it's ok to turn in your car! One day we will move on to something else too. I was commenting on those that get a car (knowing full well the strengths and weaknesses) and then sell it for the next 'new thing' next year. BUT rather than simply say "yeah, I'm rich enough to afford first year depriciation just to drive the latest thing on the block" they try to justify the new purchase by flinging barbs at the car they are selling. Things like: "it has no torque" "the gearbox grinds" "too ease to spin out" etc.
After rereading te first post, I realize that the car could be at the end of a three year lease if it is a 2000, so I'm not specifically talking about this person in particular.

I have heard about a number of people who ordered their S2000 without the benefit of a test drive. Even today, many dealers are reluctant to let people go for test drives. Also, the break in period prevented a lot of people from testing one out using full throttle and the full rpm range.
I think very few consumers understand torque, horsepower and the difference and the connection between the two. They figure out what they like, but cannot explain why. They shouldn't have to either. You don't need to be an engineer to like a sports car.
I don't think anyone is saying anything that is contadictory to anyone else. Everyone is just listing good reasons why they would trade for a 350Z. But I wouldn't! Unless they came out with a 2,700 lb version. Then I might!
