No, you're right. It can get hot as heck in the daytime. I ride with the top down only sometimes in the middle of the day, but never with my wife in the car. She always complains and then embarrasses me by pulling something over her head. Looks like I have a corpse riding in the passenger seat or something.

kekoa, here's a few quick pix of the tinted windows...

tint used was 38%, which after applied to the windows on the s2k, came out to be 34%...

my front winshield is NOT tinted...came out looking that way though...

Would it be reasonable to pay $160 for that kinda job??? Thats what a guy here is trying to charge me with a 5yr warranty.

holy crap, that is INSANE...

the tinter i go to gave me a good deal, but then again i'm a repeat customer...i paid LESS THAN HALF of your quote, tax included...AND, it included a 5year warranty...lemme know if you want his name/number...

I think I was quoted around that same price when I was looking at getting my window's tinted. They wanted aroud 150.00 to tint my windows. I don't know if they knew that I only had 2 windows for them to tint.

shop around for a different tinter...

How's about giving Keith a call at Special-T-Tinting in Kalihi? They can also do custom alarm installs to. They're located across the street from HCC, and in the same area as Spot's Drive Inn.
