I guess that crosses out the H2! We just went to the car show, didn't you see anything that you and Chrysti liked? My step mother in law (is there such a thing?), just got a Lexus ES300, and it's pretty nice. More than enough room for the family.

Before or after taxes? Lease or Purchase? We are going through the same thing right now. We are looking at a lease though of around $3k~$4K down and $400~$450 a month.
We are looking at Acura MDX, Lexus RX330, Audi A6, Saab 9-5, Volvo S60, Infiniti FX35 and G35 Sedan, Jaguar X-Type 2.5 AWD, BMW 525i. Some lease incentives make the cars more affordable and a better deal.

Well, we've got the new TSX which is available with a 5AT or 6MT, the current TL is still a great car, thought the Type-S tops out over 30K. The Accord V-6 is a real screamer, though the looks are ummmm ......... unique. My brother whos wife had a baby last night, loves his Toyota Matrix (though everyone with the car complains about a squeeky dash pod). IMO, the Infiniti product istelf is getting better, but the materials are still sub-Toyota/Honda, and resale value will surely be significantly less.
