This is one mod that made Steve and Colin even faster in the slaloms when they were fast already. I've seen these in action and it's great stuff!

Bump for a great seller!

I don't know if it's better. In fact, the one I'm looking at doesn't even have the external reservoir like the RS does.

how stiff is the ride with the rs? i wanted to get a tein suspension, but i was lookin more towards the flex with edfc. as i don't autocross like you guys, do you think the rs would be overkill for me?

I don't know what else to compare it too, but it is pretty stiff. It's adjustable, so I'm sure it can be made softer since we have it set up for the track. It's still probably too much if you're just looking to get a drop.

The external reservoir isn't much of a key feature for autocross IMO. Curtis Lee uses Tokico Illuminas and while it's a gas shock instead of a hydraulic type like the RS, it's just as effective. I wouldn't be worried too much Steve about not having an ext res container. If the suspension was designed well to include effective (but not excessive) spring rates and adjustable perches which allows for a lower center of gravity without taking too much away from the suspension stroke, it'd still be good to use for autocross.

They go for about $2100 new, so I figure $1000 is fair.

Damn that sounds like a great price! How long are shocks good for? Damn I'm thinking about asking the wife If I can get these, but I'm sure I already know what her answer is going to be. Is it bad to just get shocks for the car and not shocks and springs at the same time? Hummmm I hate having to ask my wife to spend my own money!!!
