Author: flowers should be taken from these angles - low, not from above, between these hours of the day, after it rains, etc. these lenses are suited for the task (and he lists the lenses by type/price). and then there are a few photos with the camera settings, data, etc.
it makes the book more focused on the camera settings and techniques rather than all of the technical mumbo-jumbo of some other books
it's also good for P&S cameras too.

Best advice is just shoot, shoot, shoot & shoot. Still learning here. What you think? camera is good eh! Book wise I got the photography for dummies. Good book. I recommend. Still saving up some scrips to buy lens. They is really expensive!

Heh, I just want to thank Mike for coming up with the antenna cap. He actually drove to DT to deliver it. That was real of you there. I'm currently using it whenever I park and remove the antenna.
