Default SSR double whammy

damn, i would've thought that upon re-opening of this high end wheel company, they would have their stuff straight, but apparently, my assusmption was wrong. as some of u folks already know, i ordered a set of SSR Professor SP1's in SBC, of last year, mid October. They orginally quoted me a lead time of three months, which turned out to a period of five months. So the distributor gets the wheels, and they come to find that they sent a set of 18x8's, and 18x8.5's. My order was for 18x8, and 18x9.5's. So right then, I'm pissed, because I had to wait two months more than what they had orginally quoted me. But I figure, GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT right? Yeah, I guess. LOL. Anyway, they send the order in for the 18x9.5's and just recently my distributor receives the wheels. So Ben over @ Bulletproof Automotive, is stoked, and he opens up the boxes to verify that the wheels are what I ordered. The wheel dimensions are correct this time, but............................................... THEY'RE IN POLISHED BLACK finish, and not the SBC like I had ordered! WTF? So, it's been an elapsed time of a little over seven months, and still, I haven't received the set of wheels I ordered. I'm PISSED, but there's really nothing that I can do about it but wait for them to send me the right ones. So, Ben has instructed SSR to correct their 2nd mess up immediately, and to have the wheels AIR FREIGHTED to me directly from Japan FREE OF CHARGE. So that's an upside, but just overall I'm still w/o my wheels that I ordered. So, if you're planning on ordering a set of SSR's for your S, let alone any vehicle, try to anticipate a longer than promised lead time. And hope that every1 is well!

and i 4got to mention, does any1 know people @ vakamon? i was wondering if they still have their drag EG6 h/b, and if they'd be interested in a full, authentic c-west kit for it. it's brand new, never been mounted. i need to clear out my storage, due to the fact that i may be bringing my big ass toolbox home soon, so i need the space. if any1 could/would help me w/this, i'd really appreciate it. i'm looking to get @ least a $1000 for it, which is way under what i paid for it, and it's here already, so no wait time. or, if any1 else knows some1 that wants to buy a kit for that car, lemme know. for now, take care every1, and be safe when ur on the road!

Have you tried posting that kit of yours in forumshawaii? Might work better there.
