Certain times of the year, the street behind my house is littered with Heineken bottles after Friday/Saturday nights. 9/10 times it's Heineken. I call the police everytime I see a car parked under a tree on that street late in the evening/early weekend mornings. I'm not talking about a bottle here and there, either. I talking about 12 "packs". There are idiots out there getting drunk on the street(!) and driving. During the summer months I will see a every weekend, just on my street. It would be so easy to bust these guys.......I'm not sure what problem is. All the press about DUI checkpoints, all this attention regarding drinking and driving and we still experience this in middle-class subdivision... It's getting absolutely stupid. I've traveled extensively in the West/East coast - for months at time and I've never seen this.... Some people here are just purely ****ed up... sorry for the vent. I'm getting sick of this shit.

What's even more strange is that lately I've found porno next to my house by the beer bottles, usually it's just empty DVD cases, but sometimes it's magazines and stuff. I hate to litter, but those get swept into a drain, I'm not touching that crap.

And I live in a nice area.... I'm beyond frustrated.

i hate to diss on the community that i grew up in but talk about crooked. it's just when everyone is your uncles girlfriends cousins sister mother father brother in law, it turns into "do the right thing" or "look the other way".

just like everything else around here, you get into this system of doing things and irrespective of how inefficient things are, it just keeps getting done the same way.

i love hawaii too but there's a lot i'd rather do without. it's just sad that you'll leave this place feeling this way.

Yeah, Flite. Just make sure you keep this negativity all to yourself when you get settled in your new residence. Last thing we want is you telling everyone Hawaii's full of Heineken drinking, drunk driving, asinine football fans!!!
