sure, they are used for all kinds of tuning.. the ITBs rarely will run right though.. you should do some research on them before you wind up unhappy with the 3000 dollars you'll wind up spending.

So, I heard the only way to run itb's is with a something like an aem ems, is that right?? Also would you get away with running an aem ems on the street?
And yes, a good tune is also a must. I think we spent a good 14-16 hours on tuning.

i think those crate motors from J's have crazy high compression so its not too practical for a DD when it costs $100 to fill up 10 gallons
oh wait i just read the link. not so crazy high.

huys is right, youll need a standalone to tune these. however, what everyone keeps asking is "i wouldnt be happy with a 15-20 whp gain." as far as numbers go, youre not getting a whole lot. what you PAY FOR is the rediculous increase in throttle response at any rpm (something our car just so happens to lack :-/ ). with a good tune youll be lookin at a fairly reliable ride with rediculous sound ( good example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkAFTYoyK2U ) and unmatched low end torque among s2000s. if youre looking for a set ive got a complete setup of TWMs that i can let you have for a steal. just PM me
