ITB's in the end could cost almost as much as FI, for the power to $$ gain, I would pass and go FI, and that thing about 60 ft/ls of torque, there is no way you could get that out of ITB's alone, I would have to see it to believe it.
and plus the sound of VTEC in a s2000 is pure sex, i can't cant imagine with ITBs..

its not the injectors that will cause the problem, its the airflow mix....and once again if you are after pure power esp in number terms. the gains with ITB's are shown in terms of power delivery and your power curve....the F20/22 is in such a high state of tune that most, if not all, attempts at an NA monster is pretty much a futile effort. to get any numbers you really need to up the compression and build bottom up....

Don't get me wrong, ITB's are bad ass and would be sweet on a S2000. My brother had a Integra with ITB's but a b18 is a little more flexible with that kind of set up, than a S2000. We lived in Denver and that made it hard to keep a good solid consistent tune. The affects of living at 7000 feet above sea level, unexpected changes in weather, using the car as his DD, and living on dirt roads were all contributing factors to his decision to get rid of them. When he had them the throttle response and sound was unreal in comparison to any other car I have ever driven..

haha i guess so yea b16 idling what 800cc injectors and 21 psi hahah 440 should be nothing on an s2000 infact i would think with our crappy gas mileage we must be running something close to that size stock heh..

collen, Ive always wondered..what rpm are you shifting at? I usually shift really low rpm, but ive been hearing it might actually be worse for gas mileage/ bad for my engine.
lol, still too used to my camaross.... x(

i think I usually shift around 4ish.. sometimes higher.. if you are always below 3000 you are probably not getting the full potential of the car, plus yeah, you could be bogging the motor by giving it more gas than it can burn.. Not necessarily bad but a reduction in gas mileage would result. Think about it along these lines. when you are cruising 6th gear at 65 the RPMs aren't down below 3000 because that's not where the car was designed to maximize efficiency. You don't have to VTEC every shift but don't be afraid to wind it up.. Trust me if there is an engine that should have already blown up, it's mine.
