I don't recall it ever being that bad, but .95 cents a minute was the norm. At that price, you called and got a refund if your call dropped!

Yes, that original Motorola was followed by the Ultra Classic which was about 50% smaller in depth. It was either the Ultra Classic or the NEC I ended up with.....
