I think it was a mistake. It's easy to assume the 335 is a 3.5L. Normal BMW nomenclature would lead you to believe it is. 'Tis a 3.0 though.
And yes, I believe that is the car in question.

These pics are for the person who inquired about buying the Mugen SS bumper and swapping with the original AP1. It requires cutting of the fender liner and I believe this would affect how the stock bumper would fit so probably not a good idea.
