Small Chip In Windshield
So I was taking my S2K up to the Charleston, SC port to have it shipped out to Hawaii and first they told me they needed an OEM key so I gave them the finger and said you never told me I needed an OEM key. I get one made and then head back up there and then they tell me that I am going to have to replace my windshield cause of a small chip in it or else I wont be able to register my car in Hawaii. Now, I was talking to some of my friends already over there and they told me that's BS, but then again they are women and don't really know anything about cars and the law and regulations. So, I'm asking you all. It doesn't go all the way through its the size of like half a pea and I had it filled so it won't become a big issue. Regardless, am I going to have to have the whole windshield replaced to register my S or what?

nah, if its noticeable, yes..but if its really small...most safety check guys wont even notice it. If anything, ust take it to those smaller safety's...the bigger ones seem to be more thorough..
cracks in winshield = fail safety
chips in windshield = ok..(ithink? I had chips and passed...)

Yea its filled...and not only that but its right at the very top so its really hard to see unless youre thoroughly looking for something to fail the inspection
