Default Shipping my S2000

I am moving back to Hawaii (windward Oahu) in January as i am graduating with my undergraduate degree in Accounting and I am planning on shipping my s2000 back with me. I have started to research shipping carriers and would like any recommendations or advice you guys may have to offer.

Please chime in with your experiences (good or bad), what I should expect, any hidden or surprise costs, and what you would do if you had a chance to go back.

I don't want to sell my s2000 because it seems like the market there is scarce for these cars and the prices are higher than what I find in the mainland.

I really appreciate your help and once I'm back in Hawaii I hope to meet you guys!

Ronnie

*as a side note if you are aware of any open positions in the accounting field (internships included) please let me know. I'm open to anything accounting related in private industry, public accounting, and government positions

congrats on coming back home ronnie. see info below:

you basically have three choices to get your s2000 here:
http://www.matson.com/pov/
http://www.horizon-lines.com/
http://www.pashahawaii.com/
i have heard good things about pasha as my old boss shipped his motorcycle with them.
i believe matson and horizon use containers while pasha uses a closed deck. so no worries about salt air.

Thanks,

I will go ahead and checkout those carriers. Do you know if the container or closed deck is a better option? They seem the same to me.

Anybody else with advice please chime in as well.
