Hey guys

I'm not having much luck finding a hardtop from the dealers on island and the second hand market is pretty slim. Does anyone know how to ship an OEM hardtop from LA to HI? Who to ship it with, how to pack it, etc.

I was going to buy one next time I'm in LA and have it shipped from my mom's house to HI.

My oem soft top is getting a bunch of holes and just starting to look a bit worn out. The dealership wants $1500 for the soft top + $65 an hr to install.... So I thought I'd just buy a hardtop.

i can ship it for you air (1-2 days) or ocean (2-3 weeks) from anywhere but prefer LA.
just get me location, dims and weight then i can get a quote. gl!

btw to prevent damage, the ht must be boxed or crated and adequately padded. lmk

any way you can give me a very rough estimate? im guessing the HT plus all the shipping stuff will weigh around 60 lbs. no idea about the dimensions. I don't mind having to wait a few weeks if it's a bit cheaper.

just talked to tony honda and they can't pull any up in their system.
pflueger and windward on the other hand said they can still order them but gotta check with the mainland. hit them up.

$3757 to HI from honda windward but only colors available are gpw, nfr and rio

freight is what kills the deal. vance and i got ours included since we were the 1st.
looking at the dims of my box, i'd expect to pay a minimum of $500 for ocean
