the velbrets are 19x8, and 19x9.5's. the professor's are 18x8, and 18.9.5. i currently have only the 18x8.5's, but the 9.5's have been ordered and should be here shortly (or so i was told).

Oh my bad, I was also interested in the Velbrets. Those must be from the guy at windward, w/ the Black AP1. They are the hardest to find. Hopefully SSR will re-release the on the new line. Although Eurosports does have a really good knockoff "NADS". but just can't get myself to do it. Thanks Anyways....

it's cool dude. i think he's planning on selling them towards the later half of the year. i'm leaning more on keeping the professor's, so anyone out there that is interested in the velbret's, just lemme know. i work there @ honda windward also, so i'll have the 1st heads up on when he's actually ready to sell. so, i guess my dilemma is solved, and anyone else that might be looking for wheels, you gotta get a DR cause those velbret's are SICK!

lowball would be less than that of what the actual cost is. if you were to look it up, then it wouldn't be an issue. asking price is what i paid for the wheels. $3095 for the wheel set, and another $240 for the shipping. these wheels haven't been used, just taken out of the box for inspection. if you have any negative comments, keep them to yourselves, for they are not needed. if you're looking to get a set of SSR's, you're looking to wait a while. i would know because i had to wait for these. i have them here, waiting to be put on a vehicle.
I think your price is a little off. I remember Jeff over at Eurosport quoted me like $450-$475 a wheel back when they first came out in 2002 or 2003. Thats $1800 for 18s. Dont know where you bought them but looks like you got ripped.
If you got them from BP then you probably paid full retail. Sorry to hear about that and your wait.

Just for future reference I would air in your car parts. I did that for a lot of things but your guarnteed any part within 10 days and 3 weeks if they are made to order VS 6-36 month wait.

i don't think i got ripped off. i've called around for pricing, and even through tirerack they quoted me approx $2500 for a set of professor's in SBC, and those are mainstream production wheels that don't come w/custom offsets. i got the money for them, so i bought them. i'll just have to wait for them to come in.
