Tbh the only reason anyone needs recon is for height modification lol! Although the recon shit itself lists a whole bunch of things from exhaust, tire size and even tint if I modify my car this time I'm going to get recon tired of sending letter in saying "I had just purchased the car and did not know it was lowered" hahah or even the struggles of swapping suspension just to get safety -.-' I had recon on my 335i and it was actually quite painless to get

you guys are freaking me out. I have gotten through all my safety inspections so far, but if they are getting more strict I might have problems in November....what are the rules to pass recon with an aftermarket suspension??? I thought it had to travel something ridiculous like 2 inches?

Justin I think it depends on the inspector when I went down the first time every (1991 Honda accord with cut springs) he did the bounce test (needless to say it passed bouncing 5 minutes after the inspector touched it) on the BMW the inspector never touched the fender did a walk around checke the alignment paper and gave me recon he did jot down tire size and rim size ( which you have to get recon updated if you change rims) its pretty simple tbh
