If anyone has space i got some pics. they stripped it pretty darn good. if anyone wants to make a track car...this s2k would be the perfect one. it was a real clean job...all the wires were carefully taken off, not broken off. the quaterpanels and doors are in tiptop shape.

They found it in good ol' Kalihi eh? I hope you get a nice fat check to get your car going again. I frequent a lot of boards and places where people auction and sell items. I'll keep a good eye out for people who may be selling those items out of Hawaii.

I've been thinking about the key situation. I don't only suspect the original owner. The original owner may have turned in all his keys (I'd try to find out), but someone at the store where you bought from it may have kept one. (ultimate scam, sell it and steal it back, buy it at auction, put the stolen parts back inside the car, sell it again as salvaged title)
It didn't come from a Honda dealer right? They don't have the tools to make more keys and code them to the car. They would have to go to a Honda store to make something and maybe there's an service order that can be traced. Anyway, here are some pics Snuffy sent me:

Stephen,
There is the car's ECU located? If they took the engine but not the ECU, how exactly were they planning on running the car? I smell insurance fraud more and more. That car was taken apart in such a way that it'll be easy to put back together.

It is located on the driver's side kick panel. It's located between the hood release and the firewall. I would imagine it's gone. If I were snuffy, I'd do some major damage to the car in case this is a scam. Things like poking holes in the brake lines, cutting ALL existing electrical harnesses and take a sledge hammer to the brakes/rotors/axles.
