Well, kind of. Not specifically the S2000, but property crime here is ranked very high in the nation on a per capita basis. I have heard of one other S2000 that got stolen from an apartment building that was secured. When I was getting my alarm installed, his car was also getting an alarm put it (since the police recovered it). He even put in a hood lock.

That was my boss' car. They managed to roll the car down the exit ramp and onto the street. I mean, they took the seats, stereo and some other stuff. The current theory is, inside job.

Someone who also lives in the secure condo who knew when he had the car parked. From what I'm told, there was a time where a couple of guys was checking the car out just before the incident.

They ripped the top and got in that way then tried to wire up the car to start it that way (I think they forgot that we have a red start button). I can't recall all of the details but it's too fishy to have the car stolen from a secure building without having someone actually living inside the same building to know when and where the car was parked.

did they find the car yet? its been a few days and usually cars show up. that sucks man. thats really ed up that they stole your car. and you only had it for a short time too. did any video cameras at ala moana catch the car on film, to see if the car was driven or towed away? something seems kinda fishy to me. well i hope they recover the car in good condition, if not the S2200 sounds like a good option.
