Default s2000s and alarms...

you guys running more than the factory stuffs?

i was looking into getting the 2 way lcd kine alarm but because the car has imobilizer they wanna charge an extra $60 for it!! and thats supposedly hook up price!

I'm using aftermarket with FM transmitter. That way all my friends need to do to find me is shake my car and I'll come running out.

does anyone have the optional factory alarm? what does it do? i ordered it when i bought my s and still haven't got it installed at the dealer. they messed up the first install appointment and i haven't gone back yet.

i need an immobilizer... one that immobilizes the bastards that keep hitting my front end!!

To answer your question, sorry, I have no idea what the factory alarm does. I'm sure Colin will chime in when his vicodine wears off.

^even if the throbbing wears off, maybe he won't stop the vicodine...oh, and i have those kinds of immobilizers.

i want a good alarm too

Are you parked close enough to check on your car if a pager goes off? If you are, I would recommend it.

What kind of immobilizer do you have?

jimmy has a 2-way alarm but havent seen him on the board for awhile

i got the clifford 10.5x lcd 2-way pager alarm for just under 4 bills out the door. its pretty neat, you can even adjust the shock sensitivity from the remote. no more turning that stupid little screw.
