RIP VPR Ap2 Candy Red S2000 :'(

Sadly my car is totaled. I guess we all make stupid mistakes.
It was raining and my rear tires are bald (Since it was my first RWD car I seem to forget that I have a RWD car) lol and I downed it while going into my right lane and lost traction and while losing traction I panicked and tried to brake (which was a big mistake) and pretty much spun out twice then hit the middle divider by the University exit east bound. Thank god coincidently my friends were driving by me and pulled over to help me get out since I was blocking two lanes on the freeway. Also my boyfriend who has a black ap2, also was on his way meeting me at my house pulled over. If you pass by you'll see the big cracks I made. Its pretty obvious and the only cracks there. Went hospital but no bad injuries at all I got real lucky! Just body sprains from whip lash and the airbags (airbags hurt lol) and cuts here and there. I still feel so sick about the incident but esp about the my car..... Sigh :'(. Learned my lesson for sure!

Shitty. Could have been worse though. Nice to know nobody was seriously injured or dead.
Airbags DO suck. When I was in automotive school back in Colorado I triggered an airbag deployment when I was troubleshooting the SRS relays on a ford contour. . . Like getting a bag of flower with a brick stuffed inside, thrown at your face. Needless to say they saves lives for sure.

Damn, didn't get to see this car in person. If you do happen to get a 2006+, the VSC really helps. I remember seeing it kick in during heavy rain when I was driving on bald tires on the freeway just cruising.
Unfortunately a hard lesson to learn, but at least no one was hurt.

for your totaled s2000, hope you find a new replacement s2000 that was clean as the previous one

damn, that looks painful! sorry for your loss 
when you find another car or s2000, come join us at autocross. with the s2000 being my first RWD car, I made it a point to learn better car control.
