Request for the Screw
This discussion came up a while back (remember pingu), but it's probably a good time for a refresher.
Please be responsible and respectful to everyone here on the boards. we have a really nice bunch of members here and if they feel wronged or disrespected, they won't return. and it's the REST of us that lose out on their friendship and company.
if you say you're gonna be somewhere, BE THERE. if you say you're gonna do something, DO IT! if you feel that you can't, then don't offer or commit. c'mon. it's common sense and courtesy.
ever wonder why we don't have g2g's more frequently? it's cuz too many people say they're gonna show and they don't. that might not have terrible consequences at the park, but what about messing up reservations at a restaurant or other establishment? it makes a difference. the CO's don't get paid for all the shit they try to do for the s2k community, and their generosity can only last so long if they don't feel appreciated as well.
many of us are getting busier and busier by the week. we can't afford to be catering to irresponsible persons. and when we get the chance to see our s2k brothers and sisters, we want to feel good about it, not resentful and hurt.

Exactly how I feel, but far more polite than I could ever say it. Somehow I always come across as mean or end up yelling four letter words. I guess I tend to forget how to be gentile with the civilians.
But seriously, I need work on showing up when I say I will too, I've bailed on you guys more than my share of times including this last time.
