Me! But after helping with smccurry's Hondata gasket, I'm in no mood for doing any kind of installs on a S2000!

Silvers - yes, i replaced my headunit with the alpine 7894.....the thing kicks ass with the power output it has - but with our stock speakers - it sounds pretty bad when you try to turn the bass up (I hate distorted bass). I am going to go with infiniti component speakers more than likely - they are great quality and much cheaper than something like mb quart. I am not going to put an amp with the speakers because the headunit has a built in amp with it...i guess that's a personal choice. Plus, when i add a sub i'll definitely need an amp for that - i don't want half of my trunk space to be taken up with amps!!! I think a good headunit with at least 50X4 w (mine is 60 X 4) and a decent set of component speakers should sound pretty decent with the top down. good luck!

I've always liked a/d/s/ if they're still around, Boston is a less expensive alternative. FWIW, I have an amp under the drivers seat of the Silver car, audiophile speakers in the doors, you can see my installation progress here

colin - what amp do you have under your seat? a/d/s is alittle out of my range, i'd rather spend the money on tires for the track
