Stephen, you are giving all us mugen guys a bad rep. Do me a favor and hit a lil blue bottle in your trunk. Next time you can't shake a stock S, start spraying.

Damn, I must be the slowest out of the bunch for drag racing... alright, I'm gonna start modding aggressively from today.
Day 1: Put 23 coats of super slick wax to reduce aerodynamic drag. (my lucky # is 23 if you're wondering)
Day 2: Bleed the tires of normal air and refill with 100% helium. (to lighten the weight of the car)
Remove all plastic tire valve caps to reduce weight at the wheels
Day 3: Make a special super-duper top secret fuel mixture of 92 octane fuel, diesel, Everclear, nail polish remover,
Nitromethane, Zippo Lighter fluid and sesame oil. (I won't say what the proportions are, because it's a
secret!)
Day 4: Start chocolate-loading consuming 3 pounds of Ex-Lax per meal, followed by washing it down with Metamucil Orange.
Day 5: Shave my back, palms and arms. (to improve aerodynamics and further reduce weight and dandruff)
Day 6: Donate 2 quarts of blood an hour before the race to further reduce the weight of the driver.
Final Day: Install Mugen, Spoon, Muz, AEM, Comptech, Neuspeed, K&N, TRD, Edelbrock, FlowMaster, Napa and some scratch -n- sniff stickers to further increase power at the wheels but more importantly, strike fear into the opponent's heart!
Hehe, I'd like to see you guys top this. Mua ha ha ha! (you better hope I don't get my hands on a few NOS stickers!)

when i had my Mugen CAI/header/ECU with amuse exhaust, I raced a S2000 with aem intake/hks exhaust, my car simply walked away from his, the ECU gave me alot power down low, and i took the lead at the very beginning.
I shift at 8k instead of redline due to the charactoristics of the Mugen Combo...if you check out the dyno sheet at King's page, there is actually a power loss after 8300RPM, so if your shifting at redline, it could be the reason why you couldnt shake him
