If you're contemplating getting an AEM intake, please consider researching about the hydrolocking issues on this forum first.
The veterans of this forum already know about Chris' problem, but for the newbies, the latest victims seem to be LordMagnet and mustangkiller.

I use to recommend the AEM intake because it had a good sound and bang for the buck, but IMO it's not worth the increased chance of hydrolock.
FWIW, rstark, 1s2k_2nv, and darth_nerd, all had the AEM intake without problems, but it seems that only AEM has been getting so many reported cases of hydrolock, or at least stalling, due to water retention in the filter area.
Our guest, pierceman, even said it happened to a fellow SoCal member, and they had the water bypass valve too, so that doesn't seem to solve the problem.
Buyer beware!
