if you hear the rattling after starting up, it could be a bad TCT.
timing chain tensioner..... my car does it...i even replaced it once and the noise came back about 6000 miles later =(
do a search for TCT in under the hood. i think there is a sound clip and a long ass thread about it

no no no its nowhere near that bad. That is constant. In fact, it didn't even do it at all today. I've been thinking its just the starter and flywheel getting used to each other. We'll see if it happens again. And Collen, we'll settle this on tantalus.
