Default Paint job

Where's the best place to get a paint job on oahu? I've got some dings and scratches that I'd like to cover up - also, how expensive is it to change colors? I have an 02 grand prix white, but i would like to switch to silver....Is maaco a good place? That is really the only place I've seen that advertises paint jobs....

I'm not sure about a good paint shop to go to, but Maaco is the worst place to go.

Autotech has LOTS of experience painting Silverstone (sadly we were a customer). I'd suggeest you check out Curry's paint job that should be done this weekend. It is a 'side job' by a guy who works at a body shop.

auto tech is also VERY expensive.

they quoted me 990.00 to fix a 1" dent i have on my fender 2 years ago....

and that dent is still there cause i havent gotten sick of it yet.
my bumper and fender are in need of a repaint thou. so i may start looking again.

you get what you pay for i guess...

i had a former BMW 325is , and i did ~15k worth of damage to it...the entire rear was crunched in...it was a toss up between fixing it and totaling the car...the insurance company decided to fix it...auto tech was on their list and they offered a loaner, so i went thru them...didnt even hear about them before my experience...

they were even willing to replace the seats becuse of some indentation marks from where the shattered glass landed...and truthfully, i couldnt even see the marks until my face was a foot away from them...i told them to not even bother with changing the seats...they even insisted to the insurance company to use nothing but genuine BMW parts...no generics were used in the repair of my car...

the work they did was IMMACULATE...they blended the paint PERFECTLY...the color of my car was a metallic blue which would change colors depending on how much light hit it- stock color BTW...there was no way you could tell that it was messed up...it even drove perfectly after that...no pulling, or any other issues...

now i am not affiliated with them in any way...hopefully i'll never need it, but if i ever had to have body work or paint done on a car i cared about, it would be thru them...
