I know the Fram Filter is garbage, but it was late at night and I got the "oil-change" bug. I'll take it off and look for an extra O-ring. I didn't know there was a tendency for one to get stuck. Thanks for all your replies, and I'm happy to see that most people came to the same conclusion. For good measure I will got to Honda and buy a filter! Thanks again and I will update if the problem continues.

I do believe it is fixed.. Is overtightening a filter a bad thing? because the last one crumpled from how much torque it took to take off.

^True. I believe once the filter's on and catches, just before stopping, you're to turn it 1/4-1/3 more and stop... correct?

Or atleast stop tightening when you start thinking about putting your shoulder/body into it.
