I really respect Diaz as a fighter. Not so much as a person because he IS a dick but I personally think he's badass in the ring/cage. I'd like to see him go against GSP. I know many people would say no way Diaz stands a chance against GSP but if anyone has a shot, I think Diaz could do it. GSP has trouble finishing his fights and no way would he be able to K.O. or submit Diaz. Only way would be by decision. GSP is a smart fighter and won't play into Diaz but Diaz is unpredictable. I would actually put my money on Diaz

WTF with the Draw decision with Mousasi vs. Jardine?!?!?!?!?! They just announced it and WTF?!?!?! Jardine was clearly dominated!!!

Wow! I give Daley much credit for dropping Diaz. I feel like that was a little early stoppage though. Daley probably still had some time to defend himself and go into the 2nd round but then again he was rocked kinda hard. UFC vs. Strikeforce? That would be awesome but I think the talent in Strikeforce is stronger. Looking forward to seeing Alistar vs. Werdum! Overeem is an animal!!! But his weakness is defending against submissions, that is if it goes there though.

If the UFC vs. Strikeforce goes through, the possibility of 2 matches that I've been looking forward to seeing for some time now, could happpen.

Diaz vs. GSP
Mousasi vs. Anderson Silva

I think for Dana, the question for him would be: "Does he want to risk blemishing the name of UFC to go against a more talented Strikeforce?" I mean the only talent UFC has going for them right now is: GSP, Anderson Silva, and the upcoming Jon Jones. If you look at their Heavyweight class compared to Strikeforce, UFC doesn't stand a chance. As for the lightweight division, you still can't count out BJ Penn but just because he lost to Frankie Edgar, doesn't mean Edgar will perform well against Strikeforce. I guess Edgar was just his Achilles Heel. Gilbert Melendez really impressed me with how much he has improved. I didn't think much of him before but he's showing a different fighter from before.

I'm curious on how Jon Jones will progress. I've followed Jones since he dominated Stephan Bonnar when Bonnar was in his prime. His fight against Shogun didn't say much since I believe Shogun hasn't been the same fighter since Pride. Shogun became a B+ fighter in my books. I want to see Jones fight more bigger names. The only thing I feel he shouldn't do is let Greg Jackson tame him and think more tactical. The thing Jones has going for him is that he has an arsenal of strikes (Reminds me of the old GSP when he would finish his fights with a little bit of David Loiseau) This makes him very unpredictable for his opponents. I'd like to also see how well Jones can defend against a top-notch submission specialist especially with leg/heel submissions. If he can prove he can, I see him as the next great one.

true. i think they will eventually be absorbed just like WEC. the potential line ups and matches are going to be 's!

i am a real fan of jon jones. i really like how humble he is. he knows he still has a more potential.
his fight with evans will be interesting if he can be taken down. never seen him on his back so we shall see.

SF will most likely combine with the UFC just like pride and WEC. For now they can make their money and keep people wanting big super fights in the future.

on a sidenote, Fedor vs. Hendo at 220 in the future?! say whaaaat?
