So what do you REALLY need if you want to apply Zaino polish or wax and use other products for the car wash, interior cleaning, etc.?

Once I'm finished washing and drying my car, what would be the best Zaino product to use?

I use Z-1 (first time only) followed by Z-2. After I buff it off, I give it a final 'spritz' with Z-6 spray and buff. Done.

Use what Colin uses or instead of the Z1, get the ZFX for drying times of under one hour. Wash the car with Dawn before the first coat, then use your favorite car wash soap thereafter.

Z1/ZFX only gets used for the first initial coat, then every 6 months or 12 coats of Z2/Z5. You don't have to use Z2/Z5 after every wash, just spray on Z6 to keep it glossy and repel dust.

See the Zaino FAQ that I made for this site and did not get credit for (talk about plagerism ), or click here: http://www.s2kca.com/forums/showthread.php?t=527

See http://www.zainostore.com/ for more info or to order (all other states except Hawaii, I think).

That's o.k. Rick. We know you're the bomb and appreciate all that you did for this site. Heck, I'm not even sure we would have had a separate Hawaii forum without your help.

I bet you don't miss owning a black car. At least the s2k was about half of the polishing surface.

Back at home a bunch of us use to get together and have detailing sessions at each others houses. Maybe for those of you who do and maybe those who have never, but Want to wash and detail their car for the first time, we should all get together sometime and do it together? I'll bring the beers, someone supply the water and space

That sounds like a good idea
Unfortunately, the car washing area at my apartment got shut down.
