Who's going?
I'll be there and I'm bringing my buddy with his Corvette Z06. He's praying for a nice open course.
I'm just praying that this rain stops!!!

I have to be at work by 12:30, so I don't know if I can make it. I'm going to beg to go in the 1st heat, since I'm the set-up crew, I would be able to make it to work on time. I'm actually hoping it rains a little, since I don't have my race wheels/rubber in yet. Might give me a better chance.

Well, today's autocross went pretty well. There were only 2 S2000's there though!! Wendel (Pnetr8R) and myself both with MY04's running in AS.
I enjoyed the course setup...I think it was a good fair course for everyone, as it had some good speed sections along with some nice tight stuff. There were a lot of nice sweeping turns that really made it fun. I didn't get there until about 11:00 but I heard there were a lot of spins and dead cones early on. I didn't see too many spins myself, but it did seem like people were hitting a few more cones than they usually do.
Wendel did very well for his 1st time autoX'ing the S2000 and only his 2nd time autoX'ing at all. He improved his time every run and looked really smooth out there.
I ended up winning AS,
finally dethroning Mark in his STi. I don't think I beat him at his 100%, but I'll take it. Overall I finished 18th/15th PAX.
Now for the real kicker....Wendel and I stayed around for some fun runs. We discovered Wendel was running his tires with a little too much pressure, and after adjusting that and taking him for a lap as a passenger with me, he knocked 5 SECONDS off his time!!
I took 3 fun runs, and my 3rd run came in at 57.39, which would have gotten me 6th overall. I guess I'll just have to do that when it counts next time.

Right on guys, way to represent Team S2000!!! Beating Mark isn't easy but a win is a win nevertheless. I wonder how Wendel took to autocross... does he have the bug now?

Man i'm hooked!!!
i'm glad i stayed to the end and improved during fun run, thanks to mike i lowered my time. Panos rode with me the first two and he showed me the ways. my original goal was to beat 70 secs and i got it!!!
run 1 78sec DNF
2 71sec + 1 cone
3 69sec
4 68sec
5 62sec
6 63sec plowed through several cones
When is the next autox?
Unfortunately jayson had to go home after his first run due to his radiator
