i dont wanna take my car to anywhere where i dont know the people! i'm a girl and they're gonna try to strait jack me. one place wanted to over charge me $1000, til i open my mouth and started talking shit to them. fukkers

uh oh, that's not good. well, if you want to try and look into it yourself, get a known good test light first. remove the door panel, and verify that there is power going to the power supply wire lead to the window motor when you're attempting to roll down the window. if that's not good, you'll have to check the window control module or whatever they call it in these cars, and troubleshoot from there. however, if it does light up when you're trying to roll the window down w/the switch, check the ground side. you never know, there may be a poor ground connection in that circuit that may be causing the window to be inoperative. not really a hard thing to do if you have the test light, and your basic tool set, not to mention the wiring schematic for the vehicle. just a little something that might help you, try it out if anything... oh, and one more thing, if both test check out ok, try tapping on the window motor if it's accessible, and see if it starts to work then. your window motor may be binding internally, that could also be causing it not to work. the troubleshooting process isn't that complicated, it'll either turn out to be a switch, wiring, motor, or module...

maybe when you fix this, you can get them to install a relay and finally get your power locks!
