Guys Im kinda new to Hawaii whats there to do or see on NYE? I think they do fireworks in Ala Moana and Club M is having a party? Are any of these worth checking out in regards to parking, traffic, and all that mess? Should I just eat popcorn and watch TV?

In my old(re) age I try to avoid huge crowds now so I'm headed to downtown for bar hopping away from the craziness in Waikiki and Ala Moana

There are signs all over for some concert/party at kakaako. Gotta pay for tix. i believe its all ages with a separate drinking area. Several couple of music. I think there might be a big name group there, but the group im not sure. Went last year, in my drinking partying days, would have had been real good fun im sure.

Yea not in my 20's anymore so big crowds with blaring music not so much my thing anymore. Downtown might not be a bad option. What are some good venues in downtown/Chinatown?

I have love/hate relationship with Waikiki/Ala Moana.

In Downtown, my favorites are Bar 35 (tons of beer options) or eleven 44 for a more club atmosphere
