i wouldnt put Wheeler out of the question...the Army is FULL of asshole Soldiers...one of my Soldiers' had his window busted in the barracks parking lot for a pack of cigarettes. Since it happened on post, insurance company paid 100% of it. But that would also depend on your insurance company

Btw, I work at BLDG 600 (NEC/DOIM) on Wheeler for reference.
Hopefully my damn alarm comes in by the weekend. I seem to REALLY need it.

yea i know where bldg 600 is...thing about on base stuff is if someone backs into your car or whatever and they see that it obviously didnt cause any damage, they are not going to stay around or come find you...i dont know how many times i have stopped soldiers (mainly ncos too!) because they do that

So someone is messing with cars everyday now I guess. Last Wednesday and yesterday my car got keyed. I parked in a different lot across the street today and another persons C5 Corvette got keyed in the lot I was parking at before. So at least now I know someone isn't out to get me, they're just being an asshole.
The main module of my alarm came in today. Still waiting on the tilt sensor and proximity sensor modules since I ordered them from a different place. Hopefully I'm able to do it over the weekend so I don't have to check my car multiple times during the day

hey ryan,
alan told me about what happened. its pretty f'd up, are you planning to go through insurance?
btw, i just purchased an alarm, but still need to buy a tilt and proximity sensor. Which one did you get and where'd you get it from? are you planning on installing it yourself?

What's up Jae, I'm probably not going to get it fixed since I don't think it's covered under my insurance. I'll probably just live with it for now until I work in a more secure area, lol.
About the alarm, I ordered the Viper 5901 (Alan said you found a 5701 for $100) for $240 shipped off ebay. I then ordered the tilt and proximity sensor from another website for $95 (hopefully comes in by the weekend). I'm gonna try to install it myself this weekend. I'd rather know where all the wires are run and where all the sensors and modules are located. I figure if I can't do it, then I don't deserve my EE degree, haha.

its either Soldiers or dependents...i highly doubt that its DoD civilians doing this stuff to these vehicles but thats my opinion...im thinking about getting a new type of alarm too but not too sure which one to go with yet
