Hm..this reminds me that I'm looking for a new place to rent. Anyone got any recommendations? I'm going to be working on Pearl Harbor so less traffic is better. We've been looking in the Honolulu/Pearl City area.

Traffic sucks everywhere, so I doesn't really matter. he closer you live to base the greater the percentage of people around you are going to be military.. and that's gay. Ewa is hot as hell, plus bad traffic. Kailua/Kane'ohe is always wet, but cooler, and you can jam the H3 to work and home everyday. Manoa has lots of cute Japanese chicks that stare at you funny when you play Electric Guitar outside Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. hmmm what else.. hey,, how are you moving off base anyway.. don't pay for that sh.. out of pocket dude.. it's completely not worth it, in my opinion. All the people that I ever knew to do that wound up eating bread on hand sandwiches everyday.

I will agree that traffic sucks no matter where you live around here. I just moved here (in May) after living in Europe for the last eight years, and the traffic is the one thing that I am really having a hard time getting used to. As far as finding a place to live goes; just find somewhere that you really like and can afford and do not worry about the traffic, because it is bad all over the island.
On a lighter note, I went on a cruise today with a few friends and took a few pics.

Bupton, you work at "makalapa"? I saw a GPW with dealer plates on Friday.
