Post New Clutch

YAY!! I'm getting my new clutch installed tomorrow... that is if Sonics didn't erase my name out of the appointment book. But just letting you all know that if you do Autocross...look out, cuz I'm taking gold next time around.. The secret is in the throttle control.. and driving up H-2 with a burnt out clutch everyday for 3 months has made me nothing short of a master.. that is all.

I didnt go crazy or anything.. I got the ACT street and strip clutch and an 8.8 pound flywheel. I drove a car with the lightened flywheel before.. Its gonna take some getting used to for sure..

Hey guys.. I got the clutch changed.. but now my radio doesn't work... do I just need to find the radio code and enter that? Other than the clutch being a little noisier than stock, it works great.. I almost spun out trying to make an aggressive pass on an old senile lady.

I think the radio stopped working because they unplugged the battery while they did the work. The old lady pulled out in front of me on her red light and when I passed her I could see she was 80 plus and probably forgot she was even driving.. I swear when I'm that old I'll just have a younger driver.. It would be safer and more fun. Btw... Are aftermarket clutches supposed to be SUPER loud? It sounds like I'm driving a serious race car with the top up.. Best I can explain is an extreme chainsaw sound when holding the throttle steady or deccelerating.

Shouldn't you be taking it easy on the clutch for a little while till it is broken in?

Is it the stock radio? If so then yeah you need to get the radio code to reset it. If you don't know the radio code, pull out the radio and in the back there's a set of numbers. Take that number and go to the dealer to get your code. I had to do that once before.
I hope you're not going to autocross with a nonbroken-in clutch!
