so theres a group buy going on for hard tops in this thread
free-hardware promo ends this friday the 22nd
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...ic=758786&st=0
all tops come with hardware and such.
so is anyone thinking or already ordering a hardtop trough this group buy?
and does anyone have a c-wing carbon fiber hardtop already that can vouch for it's quality and fitment?
let me know, cause i'm seriously thinking of buying a hardtop, and i believe he can ship it for less if a few of us buy together.

seems like a decent deal. shipping to hawaii is always expensive ![frown.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
my friend spence has a mugen style ht but im not sure who made it.
the fitment was good but required a body shop to fit properly.
the fiberglass seemed to be good as well but there were spiderwebs.
one has to remember that with these type of replica hts, prep for paint can be expensive.
sometimes costing more than purchasing an oem or authentic aftermarket ht.
good luck. hope it all works out.
btw we had a oem ht group buy about a year ago. there were 3 of us of jumped on the honda care class deal (30% off).

yes, but you have to attend the honda care class that evening and order your ht the same nite to get the 30% discount.
the oem ht comes painted with hardware. tony honda will charge to install.
we ended up using my work truck (F550) to transport the 3 hts to my old work.
installed them that night
and i gutted my soft top too ![biggrin.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
that was a long nite. 4 oem hts installed. 1 soft gutted and reinstalled into another s2k!

we'll make it a tech day. no need to pay. just buy lunch ![thumbsup.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
i would definitely recommend oem hardware. the other hardware just doesnt seem to work as well.

holy crap that's cheap!
i read about those awhile ago, they said fitment was pretty damn good, far better than the seibon, etc. this magazine threw it on and it had no gaps..
the install is pretty straight foward, i'm down for a mod day to help out!
gotta bring a hammer =)
