Morning Traffic
Hey guys, (or girls)
I currently reside in town and I'm planning to move to Mililani. I have to travel 5 days a week to UH Manoa. I was just wondering if I could get some input from those who face the daily rigors of morning traffic. How is it driving the s2000 every morning through traffic? Also, around what time do you guys leave? Thanks in advance

depends what time you have to be in town. if i had to be in town by 8 i'd have to leave at 7:15. no later of you'll be in traffic hell for about an hour plus.
if you can wait til 9 to leave it will take 30 minutes at the most.
it's not so bad driving the S in traffic.

my advice is to live in town, you'll hate the traffic.
I live in town and drive towards schofield every morning. Takes me about 20 mins to get out of town and then 20 more mins from airport to schofield (I see all the traffic going towards town and i just laugh)
from what i noticed in the morning, traffic build up from H1/H2 junction until Pearl Harbor, then it builds up again until University exit. nothing really better to do but to time yourself in the morning.

I live in Mililani. It's best if you can take later classes and leave a little after 8. I say you get to UH in a little over an 1hr. Add 15min's if it's raining anywhere. If there's an accident or some traffic incident -- it's too unpredictable, but I say add another 20-30 mins.
Traffic is bad, but we're pretty much moving the whole time and the distance travelled is around 24 miles.
Caveat: I haven't driven into town on a regular basis in 3 yrs or so.

Wow first post i made in a while..hey guys 
.Well I live in Mililani and had to drive to Bishop st. for work Mon.-Fri.when i had my s2k it sucked driving everyday there..but going home was fun just because its a cool car..I use to leave @6:30 A.M and got to work around 7:45.I got irritated of traffic in the s2k and bought a daily driver which worked out way better..

haha..the day u picked up ur s2. my coworker was there and he was gonna buy it..anywayz i live mililani..u SHOULD live in mililani cuz its a nice place and quiet..town is dirty and noisy.haha..just put it this way, anytime after 6:15 traffic is bad..i always left at 6 and the free way is clear..yah.. move to mililani.

Just know that school IS OUT right now. Traffic conditions now is not indicative of what you will face when summer ends.
Driving the S2K in traffic is a breeze -- the clutch is light. I have no problems except, for the random stumble I get now.

I live in makakilo and i drive to UH to drop off gf and then to straub hospital for work M-F. I leave @ 6am and get to UH by 6:45-7am depending on traffic. Traffic is ok. I love driving my S period.. so in traffic is no differ.
