Mechanical and Electrical assistance.

Mechanical and Electrical assistance.
Whats up guys. I have access to a lot of cool stuff and I thought I would share it with the local S2000 crew.
First, there is the military auto hobby shops. If you know somebody with a military I.D. they can get you in. The shop has several lifts and about any tool you could need, and it doesn't cost more than about $15 for a full day. I've used the lifts to change my engine, tranny, and differential fluids. I've also used them to grind and paint my brake calipers, change the brake rotors, work on my exhaust, etc. I can help you guys with this stuff and anything else within my abilities... which does NOT include a Hondata gasket install.
Second, I'm an Electronics Technician and as a hobby I like to play with wires, especially in cars. I can't fibergalss but I can wire and install about anything you have seen on these boards. That includes Head Units, Amps, Speakers, Lights, VAFC I or II, Stereo DCI's (dash controll interface for aftermarket head units), and just about anything else. I can also show you which wire to modify (cut it or install switch) so you can raise/lower the convertible top while driving at 20 MPH, and install a switch or show you which pins to short so you can get a blink code when your CEL is on (tells you why the CEL is on without requiring a diagnostics tool). This stuff is all in the Electronics forum but some people aren't comfortable messing with wires, especially in an expensive car, so I can help out if you need it.
I won't charge you labor on most things I've mentioned and generally I accept payment in the form of food and drink. Just thought I'd hook you guys up since I've had fun cruisin with the S2000 group and I love working on this car. Feel free to hit me up with any questions.

Nate, thanks for the offer. I'm thinking of just 2 more mods to my car (the installation of of a V-AFC, and change the head unit), but i haven't taken much action because of messing with wires. I usually can do this stuff myself, but in used old junky cars i had . (which i didn't care if i blow up). but the S is a different story!!!
I'll hit you up one day.

I'll hit you up one day to help me figure out if I wired the DCI right. And then hopefully one day for the V-AFC II. Did you say that you know how to hook a V-AFC II up without the frog harness?
Thanks
Bruce
