Default May 15th, 2005 S2000 meet

Decided to make a new thread since the venue and time was decided...

One small change though. It was suggested that we move the initial meeting place to the first lookout at Tantalus instead of the park, since even moderately dropped S2k's scrape on the speed bumps leading up to the state park.

Sooooooo, the time, 10 a.m.
the place, first lookout on Tantalus.
Events afterwards still to be determined, though there will invariably be a drive, food, and then more driving involved.

Yes, the side with the tourists
Diamond Head is visible and makes an awesome backdrop for pictures. I'm thinking that the traffic up there is pretty light on a Sunday morning.

@jayson: glad to hear you'll make it.

@justin: I talked to Mike about your suspension. Sorry dude, but I think the noise that you're hearing is normal. The BuddyClubs use a pillow ball mount and those are noisy as heck. How do I know? The Tein RS uses the same system and I heard the tock-a tock-a tock-a noise and was worried too. Found out that it's normal.

I'll be there, we're gonna fill that lookout. Maybe someone should go early and tape it off "Event Paking - S2K only".

nah, this sound definitely can't be normal. it not only makes noise but i can feel the car vibrate on hard bumps. it feels like something is going to fall apart. my friend has the same suspension and it doesn't make any noise. i sure hope we can figure out what the problem is...
