Default Maui S2K's

Well its been awhile now and still no love for S2K's here on Maui? I know your out there!!! I drove around the head of Maui and the road to Hana in the S and its damn fun...It would just be better if there was more cars down for the run.

Road to Hana = 52 Miles, 56 one-land bridges, 617 turns = FUN!!!

Sorry to hate on the Hana Hwy, but I thought it was pretty hellish to drive. I'm sure it would've been a little more enjoyable in a S2k but it seems too risky to open it up anywhere along that route. The road was pretty bad in some parts and most of the time you would only use 1st and 2nd gear (correct me if im wrong). Imagine doing that for a couple of hours (again correct me if im wrong). Your brakes would be very worn out and your clutch would probably be fried by the end of the trip. Make sure you have a barf bag cause if you have a passenger they would probably get sick. During the day the road is pretty congested with sightseeing tourists. It is a beautiful drive with awesome scenery but i'm not sure if I would take my precious S2k down there. One road I did enjoy on Maui was the road to Haleakala. That was alot more fun to drive cause I could reach much higher speeds and it was smoother sailing. It was hell on the brakes going back down though.

just came back from maui, went up to the crater and hana hwy. Hana hwy has some very good scenic views, but too dangerous to go over the speed limit. Way too many 1 way bridges. Wish i could of done it top down

I spotted a few s2ks. Saw a red ap1 with a single exhaust, lowered, gold wheels.
