bdrift, you should just find some land and practice the different RPMs. I find that I can do 5k drops with no problems. When you start getting to 6k I get wheel spin and clutch burns. But if I do it just right I have been able to get good launches. I think anything over 6500 and you are asking for trouble. 4k and less nothing will happen IMO. I've never gotten wheelspin or any clutch burns in that range.

As for the 350z, it's a nice car that seems to have a very linear power band. I think it's very equal stock for stock. We would lose off the line due to the higher torque but it would be even over distance.
