I don't have a college degree.
You don't need one, but it can't hurt.
Without it, the best way to get by would most likely be service related. Either in an upscale restaurant or in the retail sector.
There may be other ways, but this is what I know.
If you work in the right restaurant, you can make over $100/night plus minimum wage hourly(and some restaurants you'll only be working 5-10'ish shifts!)
As for retail, you can work in a commission job, and make decent money. You will need good interpersonal skills and a decent appearance to do well in this job, but there is money to be had in this sector as well. Experience in both professions helps to land the better paying jobs.
I don't know about the restaurant business right now, but the retail business is short on people.
As mentioned by the other posters, the best way is to start your own business, but this is exceedingly tough in Hawaii and fraught with risk.

Yeah I hope if he comes he can do something and go to school at the same time. I'm supposed to leave in Oct 2006 but I was thinking about extending here another year so I guess he'll be rent free for 2 years.
I'm going to have my sugar momma in a few years when my wife gets her CPA lisence or something like that for accounting.
