Well I dont have a degree and never will waste of time in my opinion. I was in the Marines for 8 years and got out to be a Building Inspector and now starting my own business I am a single dad and feel I am doing pretty well to say the least I always have a positive out look on things and believe you can do whatever you put your mind to it.

Wow, I thought when you said you were in the Army you were an officer. Were you a building inspector when you were in the Army? I really hope my brother comes here and tries to do something with his life. He's getting pretty old and we're all worried about him.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say anything like that in the AF. I don't know if I'm going to do a full twenty. I will definitely have to make that decision at my 10 year mark. If I do a day past 10 then I might as well do another 10 and retire from the AF by 38. We'll C...

I have a degree... but i do have friends that did not go to school, and is doing well.
they found military contractor jobs with BAE. So if your bro is gonna try, i suggest starting there. they get paid pretty well.
in any case, personally, the most successful (if rich=sucessful) people i know, do not have degrees. they run their own business. that's the way to go.... much better being stuck in a office helping someone else get rich.
